What is Vaikhari Japa?
What is Vaikhari Japa? As per the Vedas, Vaikhari Japa…
I have been on a spiritual journey for as long as I can remember. My initial years were spent in a temple environment before I moved to regular schooling and college. Post college, while I worked in the corporate world (an IT company), circumstances got me into training as a psychologist.
The same set of circumstances also directed me back to my spiritual roots and to help those roots grow into a flowering tree. As a first step, I began to study Vedic Astrology which led me to seek the spiritual aspects of this subject and that drew me towards Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagwad Geeta and much more.
Annant Drishti is an Institute for Vedic Studies & Sanatan Dharma. This has been an idea for long and its time is now. The intent of the institute is to occupy a space the minds and hearts of all true Sanatanis.
Annant Drishti is a knowledge and discussion hub. It is where Scholars & students, Researchers & curious minds Ved Pandits & Pujaris, shall converge. Thus, from being a thought in the minds of a few people now, it shall be an institute that is shaped by several right-thinking people in future. And that future is not far from today.

Ma Katyayani is considered to be the Devi of “martial bliss.” Thus, anyone who has marriage issues or facing obstacles in getting married / delays in marriage can attend this workshop, worship her, do dhyana on her. She also represents the passage of heart chakra to the 3rd eye. This represents the perfect combination of Shiva and Shakti.
I got in touch with Poonam ji for astrological consultation and during the consultation I realized that I was talking to a person with a deep understanding of Indian scriptures, spirituality and tantra. My interaction with her has since grown and I am eagerly looking forward to her lectures on Bhagwad Geeta and Bhagwatam.
Poonam (Satyamshakti) Datta Guruma is a spiritual teacher akin to the essence of a rainbow – a radiant and transformative presence that has left an indelible mark on my spiritual journey. Much like a rainbow’s vibrant colours Guruma emanates a profound wisdom that captivates and inspires. Her teachings offer a kaleidoscope of insights, perspectives and practices - guiding me towards a deeper understanding of myself.
I wanted to understand Kashmir Shaivism, having heard of it from various sources but didn’t know how to go about it. Someone suggested the name of Annant Drishti – I got in touch and have since then been learning and advancing with each interaction.
Annant Drishti has been instrumental in changing my perspective about our roots – I have learnt a lot in the brief period of time that I have interacted with Poonam ji and others – especially about Tantra which I always thought of as something to be scared of. Today, my understanding is much deeper and more correct.
