Annant Drishti is an Institute for Vedic Studies & Sanatan Dharma. This has been an idea for long and its time is now. The intent of the institute is to occupy a space the minds and hearts of all true Sanatanis.
Annant Drishti is a knowledge and discussion hub. It is where Scholars & students, Researchers & curious minds Ved Pandits & Pujaris, shall converge. Thus, from being a thought in the minds of a few people now, it shall be an institute that is shaped by several right-thinking people in future. And that future is not far from today.
Towards this, we seek support and advice. It is not a secret that a huge chunk of the rich legacy of ancient Indian wisdom that should spread far and wide, should help and guide not just Hindus but the entire world, is either lost or largely hidden in a few maths, mandirs and scholars. Many gurus and pandits have the knowledge that must be brought out. Unfortunately, for wont of concerted effort, it remains there and unless we make the effort, it might be lost forever.
There are obstacles, of course. In the west, there are movements against Sanatan Dharma that carry out malicious propaganda regularly. Then there are people in our midst, Hindus only in name, who have been brainwashed to the extent that they are either apathetic towards Hinduism, or deem it backward.
The need of the hour is to correct this situation. It’s important to rediscover this knowledge, bring it on one platform, and get people interested so that proper research, compilation and dissemination of information can take place.
It is in this context that the Anant Drishti project assumes greater importance. We seek scholars and researchers from multiple streams ranging from Vedas, Tantra, Yoga, Astrology etc and bring them all on one platform. The intent is to create a knowledge hub that will bring together all available knowledge and undertake research that unearths knowledge that is believed to be lost. In special focus shall be Vedas and Upanishads.
The endeavor won’t just be to unearth true wisdom and knowledge; there shall also be a sincere and focused attempt at correcting available knowledge and remove distortions that have been put in by vested interests.
So, this is your bridge between those who have the wisdom and those who seek it. Further, the focus shall also be to work actively to widen the net of people who have wisdom and its seekers, especially those who prefer to stay away from the limelight and do their work silently.
The project needs support. From scholars and researchers, from writers and scribes, from teachers and students, from anyone who can support this initiative, in fact, people from every walk of life. And take up the cudgels on behalf of Sanatan Dharma.
I have been on a spiritual journey for as long as I can remember. My initial years were spent in a temple environment before I moved to regular schooling and college. Post college, while I worked in the corporate world (an IT company), circumstances got me into training as a psychologist.
The same set of circumstances also directed me back to my spiritual roots and to help those roots grow into a flowering tree. As a first step, I began to study Vedic Astrology which led me to seek the spiritual aspects of this subject and that drew me towards Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagwad Geeta and much more.
Annant Drishti Aadhaytam Peetham is devoted to learning and spreading Ancient Indian Wisdom contained in its multiple scriptures and philosophies far and wide. If you have the same interest, do get in touch.
