Krishna's flute is not an instrument it is a tantra

Krishna’s flute is not an instrument it is a tantra

Tantra means to weave. Krishna weaves breath into bliss with nothing but hollow bamboo.

Empty to resonate:

A bansuri is not carved, it is emptied. Its knots are pierced, its interior cleaned. Ego is the knot. Krishna only lifts the bamboo that has agreed to be hollow. Meditation is the hollowing.

Breath as prana
He does not blow, he breathes. One unbroken column of air becomes a night of ragas. Where Rudra’s damru creates by strike and rhythm, Krishna’s venu sustains by continuity. One shatters, the other allures.

Seven gates,seven chakras:

Seven finger holes, one mouth hole. The body read as flute: seven chakras and sahasrara above. Fingers open and close the nadis like mudras. Each raga routes prana differently.

Why the gopis run

In the Venu Gita, they hear the flute at midnight and leave home. Home is samsara, night is the inward turn, the gopis are your senses. When the inner anahata nada sounds, the senses stop serving the ego and run to their source. Radha runs fastest. She is buddhi in total surrender.

You do not become the player. You become the played.
